Cat Ba island-it's worth to try

Belong to Cat Hai Dist, Hai Phong province, Cat Ba island is located inside Lan Ha bay, a part of Halong bay and was listed as World’s biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 2004.

The island is as lovely as a naughty and dreamy maiden with lightly rain in the spring, but when summer comes, it turns busy as a perky boy with beaches full of tourists and transform into a tender and elegant lady in winter.

Also, don’t forget to check in Cat Ba national park, a forest with the diversity ecosystem, a home to more than 700 kinds of plants, many of them are rare and listed as endangered pieces. Visitors can either hire bikes or walk into the forest to catch rare pieces of plants and animals. The journey to the peak of the forest could be really tiring but when you reach the peak, stand and set your sight free, you’ll find it really worth. From the top of the forest, it’s easy to catch all the spectacular scenes of sea and island into your eyes.

Being a part of Halong bay, the scenes here are partially the same as what the nature granted Halong bay but still own their unique features. To truly discover Lan Ha bay’s beauty, kayaking is the best way, it helps approach limestone island and caves lying inside limestone mountains. Also, never miss Monkey island, there is a beach name Cat Dua here which is extremely ideal for those who love to immerse in the sea, people even offer diving tours here to watch the colorful coral reefs, where many precious pieces of marine creatures as abalones, pearl oysters, lobsters and colorful school of fish.

From Lan Ha bay, visitors also can stop by Viet Hai harbor to visit Viet Hai village, a community lies solely in the forest and surrounded by spectacular mountains. The inhabitants here still keep the live as it was at the “beginning” so it must have quite interesting to see.
